Pop star Miley Cyrus is under a criminal investigation for desecrating the Mexican flag on stage in Monterrey on September 16, 2014, which is Mexican Independence Day.
While most people in Mexico were celebrating Diez y Seis de Septiembre, Miley Cyrus was twerking on stage in Monterrey with dancers whipping and rubbing Mexican flags on her butt.
To some of the pop stars' fans, it was just "Miley being Miley," but to Mexican officials in Nuevo Leon, it could be a violation of the country's constitution, which protects "national emblems, the flag and the national anthem."
Cyrus, known for her provocative performances, was wearing a large prosthetic butt during the incident, which occurred on Mexican Independence Day.

I would gladly take a huge steaming dump on the Mexican Flag and mail it snail mail to El Presidente`to show my displeasure with his third world hovel.
As for Miley, who cares?

A) Her father must be SO proud.
B) It’s quite a shame, and shows how far America has fallen, when MEXICO goes to such lengths to protect it’s flag, but we just roll over when it comes to ours.

I’m no fan of Miley Cyrus, but the last time I looked, Monterrey, CA is still part of the US and Nuevo Leon is part of Mexico. If they want to get pissy over this, I think we should get a little pissy over them exporting their unemployment to the US.
I hope they hound the hell out of her. I don’t care about her one way or the other - but its always good when our own Anti-American freaks learn a real lesson about how other cultures operate.
As someone said - Multiculturalism in the USA today means never learning anything about reality of other countries and cultures.

I think this happened in Monterrey, Mexico, not Monterey, California.
He is Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi and he’s been held in Mexico for over 180 days now and what-his-face is too busy playing golf to make a phone call to ask that he be returned.

If it had been an American flag, it would be a non-issue.
Oh please put her in a Mexican prison for a few years.
If she winds up in court, maybe her lawyer will defend her by saying it wasn't really her butt, or a real butt, for that matter, and that the prosthetic butt provided a buffer between the flag and Miley's essential skankiness. The lawyer could also show video of her recent performances to make the point that rubbing things with her butt is Miley's way of showing affection. She was just saluting the flag, your honor.
Mexicans owe us! Throw the little twerk in prison!
