I think you pretty much nailed it. She makes them look bad; they can’t handle the truth.

Nope. ABC is on my ‘No Watch List,’ and has been for thirty years.

I still have not gotten over her Sarah Palin bashing, on multiple occasions I might add.

Never watch any of these 3 or 4 to 1 lib verses conservative panals. My guess is ABC is using the adage when the facts are against you argue the law and when the law is against you argue the facts. They have one addition, when both the facts and law are against you, stifle the opposition.

Has anybody else noticed that Laura Ingraham has NOT been part of ABC's This Week Roundtable for about 2 months?Maybe she's finally come to her senses?

Laura is a tough cookie. The lefties trot out their bromides, and she shoots them down in full-auto mode.
To: PJ-Comix
Simple as her kids are home from school and would rather have fun outside the beltway as a family rather than subject herself to that mad-hatter kangaroo court and make positive memories with the kids? Their is only so much of Disney on the Potomac even an insider like Laura can stand IMHO....

I think you pretty much nailed it. She makes them look bad; they cant handle the truth. And I'm wondering if Cokie Roberts delivered an ultimatum to get rid of Laura. If you looked carefully at Cokie when Laura was talking you could tell she was trying very hard to keep from exploding in anger.

I haven’t seen her on This Week, but I used to listen to her radio program and I didn’t find her very substantive. I thought she lacked depth - no insight, just cheap shots.

Haven’t seen that show since Brinkley was host.
Surprised to hear a Cokie is still with the show. How old is she now?

I wish she would explode just once. “Better a fool keep his mouth closed than open it and remove all doubt.” How delicious to see that in action!

Well, this is interesting. I used to listen to Laura years ago, about the time of the 2008 election and it is from Laura that I first learned about Sarah Palin. McPain was about to announce her as his running mate, and Laura was all about her then. She’d recently met her and had nothing but glowing remarks. Maybe the reason I stopped listening is because she went wobbly?

Cokie Roberts comes from a long line of southern, Yellow Dog Democrats. Most in her family would rather die than agree with a conservative.

How old is [Cokie] now? OK, here we go...things that are older than Cokie Roberts: < fill in the blank>

wobbly
I listened to her for a short while in 2008. Then this happened:
On FoxNews morning show, she was cutting Hillary about H's crying episode during the 2008 primaries.
Later, she opened her radio program with similar cutting remarks about the crying scene and how it seemed to be nothing more than an attempt at Hillary getting sympathy.
After the half-hour, her guest was Terry McAuliffe (D). He brought up the crying scene, and Laura was all sympathy and knew how bad Hillary felt and how emotional it was for poor Hil to have that happen.
Laura went total wobbly in about 1 hour.
