Why not call it something else? Why must it be called “Ghostbusters”?
Then how about “Ghostbusters Generation 2”

I am tired of the Reboot fetish. Yes, Hollywood has been making remakes of movies since the beginning of the motion picture industry, but it seems that what we get are more and more “reboots.” Why not try something altogether new?

Count me out. I loved the original, but that’s it.

The male Ghost Busters were comically pathetic. I guess women can be just as pathetic as any man.

Is it just me or does this rewriting of everything to make it female seem a bit “Stalinesque?”
What’s next, “Annette Schwartzenager” as “The Feminator?”

It wont be funny, that’s the problem. Women have a very difficult time doing comedy, it always seems to descend into snark.

A gender revolution in the world of comedy ghost movies.

Did they contact the owners of the contract of the original screenplay, first?
I’m not buying the movie tickets.
I’m not going to run to any downloadable video source at the corner drugstore.
I’m not purchasing the ‘digital’ recording, in either standard OR blugh ray format.
Once again, Hollywood cannot make a decent movie, without screwing up what was previously written as a book, or just to a screenplay.

How about Tina Fey in Snarknado?

Because Rosie O'Donut is every bit as talented as John Belushi. < /sarc >
(I know John didn't appear in the films, but it was crafted for him).
