News reports today and irate witnesses at the scene report that a pregnant woman in labor was not allowed to cross the street to go to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for 30 minutes because Obama’s motorcade was expected to drive through the area.
The woman sat on a bus bench until Obama’s motorcade drove through.
People at the scene quickly used Twitter and the hasthag #ObamaBabyWatch and posted pictures of the woman and commented about her plight.Because the Obama motorcade prevented her from getting to the hospital, workers at the medical facility went across the street to attend to her in case she gave birth before getting to the hospital.

Witnesses say a pregnant woman in labor was prevented by authorities from crossing a Los Angeles street to a hospital Wednesday because the road had been closed for President Barack Obama’s impending motorcade.
The unidentified woman was barred from walking the few hundred feet to the hospital for at least 30 minutes as authorities waited for the president’s motorcade to pass by, witness Carrie Clifford told TheBlaze early Thursday morning.
“I felt bad for her,” Clifford said. “It does happen when Obama comes to L.A. or I’m sure anywhere else. It paralyzes the city, it does make it complicated.”
“You can’t do the things you had set out to do because the president is in town,” she added.

“You think labor’s bad? You should see how many fundraising parties I have to get to tonight”
If I were the woman in labor, I would get my attitude on and cross the dang street. What are they gonna do? C’mon. #obamababywatch

I spoke to a Prosecutor friend of mine here in Pasadena whose courthouse is in L.A. She said that the traffic yesterday was NUTS. He courthouse is across the street from where ODimwit is speaking today. She left for work a couple hours early.
Well, yes. But ObamaCare will give her a pill. The important thing is that the Messiah was not delayed from his Fund Raising Event.
Remember years ago, when Clinton held up traffic at LAX because he summoned a dude named “Christophe” to give him a haircut aboard Air Force One????
Presidents are a traveling circus. Where ever they go, they cause disruptions.
Imagine how CNN, MSNBC, CBS, and the rest of the MSM Alphabet Soup would react if this happened with a Republican!
Obama is a reflection on the attitude of the entire Comm...er, uh, Socialist/Democrat party. They see themselves as the ruling class.
Something about “servant of the people” just doesn’t click with them.
The thing about a circus is one usually wants to see it.

Seems odd that the medical staff could cross the street, but not the patient.

Just imagine the media outrage if a Bush motorcade had prevented a woman from getting to an abortion clinic.
The workers were allowed to cross the street but the pregnant woman could not? This story doesn't smell right.
