An explosive video posted online on Sunday shows two U.S. Marines confronting a man who they accuse of impersonating a military veteran at a funeral in Florida.
The Marines first suspected the man was likely an imposer because his uniform featured a mix of mismatched medals and ribbons.
After the service they approached the man, who identified himself as a sergeant major. His name badge states his surname as Davis.

Just a quick scans shows the following errors:
Officer branch insignia
Officer US insignia
Wearing medals with ribbons.
Purple Heart shown as lowest precedence on ribbon rack. (They are all out of order anyway)
Wearing rank on beret
Name plate not properly centered.
Unit award not aligned properly.
Wearing a Bronze Star, Silver Star and a Purple Heart?
Yeah. This guy needs some serious wall to wall counseling.
“Ribbons and medals together, LOL.”
I know! That’s a dead giveaway that he wasn’t actual military.
Is that Idi? If so, he’s probably pointing to the guy whose liver he wants for dinner!
0bama’s son in the military. Humiliation is better than a whoopin’
I love how Chis Plante handles these cretins on his show. XD
For one thing, he's wearing officer's lapel insignia, not enlisted. And you don't normally wear both ribbons and medals, IIRC. Then there's no regimental crest above his nametag and on and on...
“Wearing rank on beret”
Hahaha. Didn’t even notice that. Good Lord!
Lizzie Warren's SecDef.
Yep! First of all a real CSM/SGM wouldn't look like a soup sandwich in uniform. Second, not only would he know his MOS and AR-670-1, but could probably cite the most current edition and page number.
Also, when asked who the CO was, he could go about ten chains of command above and below him, probably with their DSN telephone numbers. You don't make E-8 or E-9 in any branch/service being "low-drag".
I don’t get it! I mean, you can look up, online, every branch, their uniform regulations, proper ribbon/medal order, and just about anything else...so, why can’t these fakes do a better job?!?
He had a better chance of impersonating Michelle Obama, than ANY military NCO, much less an Army Sergeant Major!!!
These people’s lives are so insignificant that they must attempt to steal glory from those who have actually put their lives on the line and time in the suck!
They need to have some much needed dental and rhinoplasty work done!!
Here is the actual YouTube video showing what the situation is with this guy.
I saw the video via an earlier thread.
Be forewarned there is a language warning.
Both a real Marine and the fake dude drop F-bombs near the end.
"This is Roni De Joseph of Brooklyn, one of the infamous wannabe Vietnam veterans embraced by and perpetuated by the US main stream media in order to portray veterans of America's longest war as cringing, crying, jungle fatigue-wearing losers.
De Joseph never spent a day in uniform, let alone in the Third Mar Div., let alone in Vietnam or combat.
Because he fit perfectly the leftist media stereotype, this picture flashed around the world, and though he was exposed as a fraud, the photo still shows up in publications and on the Internet."

96B, don’t think they call it that anymore, though. Think it’s 35F now.
Two of the top four are ROTC medals.
Exactly!
Sloppy POS.
Too bad there wasn’t a CSM there.
I never saw a CSM who didn’t look like a CSM. LOL
In addition to your list, he has awards which can only be awarded for combat (CIB, Silver Star, etc) but no Combat Service Identification Badge. Surprised he didn’t work an MP brassard into the mix....
This is who he's stealing from. Yes, Spec. 6's get the medal of honor.
In the video he said he was both an MP and Special Forces - a real Army of one !
