What's a Monty Python reunion without a dead parrot? And why settle for a simple prop you can bang on the counter when you could have a monstrous, 50-foot-tall dead parrot?
To promote the live broadcast of the comedy troupe's July 20 performance, UKTV's Gold channel and sculptor Iain Prendergast created a massive fiberglass dead parrot, which was suspended from a crane and laid talons-up in London's Potters Field this week.

Also shows in theaters ( not live ) on the 23rd and 24th of July. My local showings are both dates at 7:30 ET.
Fandango gives the July 20 show as costing $18.

I wonder if there is a picture of the Queen doing the Picard palm to the face. It would fit in so well here.

Bought my ticket yesterday at the local theater’s box office that’s going to show it. Was $18 and the person selling the tickets was shocked at the price. I wasn’t. I also think I was the first one to buy. Ordering online cost $2 more.
Going to keep looking online to make sure it doesn’t sell out as it’s the only showing for a few hundred miles. If it does then I’ll have to get there super early to get a good seat.

That’s one of the advantages I have of living in the centre of a major city- *almost* balances out the downside.
