Most of the times, it is better off if the sequel to a movie was not made. There are probably a few movies that would have been nice to have one. Which movie(s) do you think should have had a sequel?
“There should have been a Godfather 4 in which the entire cast of Godfather 3 gets whacked. That way everything is all right with the world again.”
It would work for me if you also found a way to bring Sonny back from the murdered.
I am a Mel Brooks fan. I am not sure about a Space Balls sequel. I am not opposed to it, but Mel Brooks just isn’t a Sequel kind of guy. Still, Spaceballs II: The Search for More Money could be a hoot.
I can see a War Games sequel. It could feature Matthew Broderick’s character as an adult who is now trying to foil a massive cyber assault.
Saw that at the theater. Had blissfully forgotten it.
Now it's all coming back. Thanks a lot.
Titanic!
Yes! I want to see Leonardo DeCrapio die again and again
WOW, you have some imagination! If you wrote some great tunes, it could work!
They PROMISED they'd be back. Never happened.
The teaser: Making the Grade, with Judd Nelson.
I really hated that movie, but the credits told us there would be a sequel.
Yes, agree with Flash Gordon.
Another tease. The end....?
Who picked up Ming's ring? And why do we hear his laughter?
To be serious for a second, a movie that cried out for a sequel was Starman.
I'd love to find out what happened when Jeff Bridges' son was born and became a "teacher".
But the movie really stands alone as a masterpiece.
Custer.... this time he brings the Gatling guns and cannons and does not separate his troops.
You asked the same questions that many have asked about the end of Flash Gordon. It was definitely set up for sequel.
Groundhog Day.
You can see the sequel everyday...... : )
Rancho Deluxe
A Blade Runner sequel wouldn’t require any of the original characters/cast ... I’d just love to “see” more of that universe and hear more of the soundtrack ... There is a lot they could do with it.
yes, Thelma and Louise !
Dr. Detroit.
But of course, I eagerly await a sequel to Gone With The Wind with Denzell Washington playing Rhett.
The Time Machine ....with events revisited where the Indians lose to Custer , the Mexicans lose at the Alamo and Oswald misses Kennedy and we nuke the Soviet Union and eventually wind up with Ted Nugent as President and and and and and .....
Wasn’t there a short lived Starman TV series that acted as sort of a sequel? I believe it starred Robert Hays (Airplane).
True. It could be more of another layer of that “universe.”
I think you are probably right. I think I saw the series before I saw the movie. lol
You are correct, sir.
It was a well made movie, but it should have been called something else. It had nothing to do with Sherlock Holmes. I doubt whoever that writer was had ever read a single Sherlock Holmes story.
