The woman representing Pennsylvania in the Miss USA 2014 pageant has opened up about how she was conceived when her mother was raped at knifepoint.
Valerie Gatto, 24, revealed to Today.com that a man dressed in black attacked her mother when she was just 19, forcing himself upon her behind a building until a passing car spooked him, and she managed to run away.
Rather than let the tragic story define her, Valerie has decided to use it as a platform to help educate women about sexual assault. 'I believe God put me here for a reason,' she said. 'To give [people] hope that everything is possible and you can't let your circumstances define your life.'

What people do of their own free will is one thing. The problem arises when you try to outlaw abortion even in cases of rape or, more precisely, when demoKKKrats manage to convince 51% of the sheeple that you INTEND to do that. That played a part in Obunga being re-elected two years ago.
Why do we need to know this?
OR... is the necessity for making a victim of yourself and cultivating a victim mentality SOOOO ingrained now?
People do need to know this, especially all the evil persons who make the excuse that it is acceptable to kill the children conceived in rape.
I do too..... but if she does come out in favor or pro-life EVEN though she was conceived in a rape against her mother, the pro-abortion gestapo will savagely attack her and her mother, and she will likely have her crown taken from her. Remember there are 2 sacred cows to the left wing zealots & gestapo, and that is radical embracing of homosexuality/lesbianism and secondly the desire to kill & abort as many babies as possible. Any public stand against either of these sacred left-wing fetishes, will result in her being vilified & attacked for life.
Personally I don't see her embracing a pro-life position at all for these very reasons.

This is a tough subject to think about.
But, her very existence, and what she has done with her life, shows what can rise from horrific circumstances.
It had to be very painful for her mother, not only enduring the attack, but having to explain to her daughter who her father was. I can’t imagine having such discussions.
Acknowledging her parental background is plenty. She's beautiful, radiant, and obviously raised by a mother who loves her dearly.
It's standard to know about the parents when someone reaches this level of publicity. Less principled people would lie and invent a father story. I'm impressed by the integrity of the mother, bringing this woman up to be honest and accepting of her parentage.
The leftist logic of aborting after a rape escapes me.
For what other crime is the punishment to kill all the innocent bystanders?
