The findings revealed that cat lovers scored significantly higher on intelligence tests compared to their dog-loving counterparts. However, dog owners tend to be more energetic, obedient and outgoing than cat lovers, according to Live Science.
Researcher Denise Guastello, a psychology professor at Carroll University, said at an annual Association for Psychological Science meeting in Chicago, that the average cat owner is more reserved, perceptive, tolerant and better at breaking rules than the average dog owner.

“average cat owner is more reserved, perceptive, tolerant and better at breaking rules than the average dog owner.”
Also more neurotic, less coordinated, and servant to the cat.

This article is just another example of the imbecility of the so-called “social science”, psychology. It all started with phrenology, and it has been downhill since then.

and servant to the cat. We owned dogs when I was a kid, and it fell to me to shovel up their poop from the lawn and bury it. And bathe them and remove ticks. Cats are a lot less work. They bury their poop and clean themselves. I like dogs, but I've never owned one as an adult.

Yes, that destitute addled cat lady who had 100 cats in her house was an frigging Einstein. Look at where the money/motivation comes from and then you will know the answer about the “study”.

“toxoplasma gondii”
Had to bing that one. Never had any problems with parasites, though you can get them from both cats and dogs. I’ll take my chances.
