KANSAS CITY, Miss., May 30 (UPI) --A US Airways flight from Los Angeles to Philadelphia was forced to make an emergency landing in Kansas City after a service dog started pooping in the aisle and the flight crew was unable to contain the mess.
The passengers aboard US Airways Flight 598 could only sit back and watch while a big dog defecated in the aisle not once, but twice.
After the dog went to the bathroom for the first time about an hour into the flight, the crew did their best to deal with the mess but they were unable to contain the smell.
"An hour later, it still smelled bad, and after they cleaned it all up, it pooped again," Passenger Steve McCall told INSIDE EDITION. "A couple of people started dry-heaving, a couple of people were throwing up."

LOL! Good one.
It was either a Shitzu or a CockaPoo
Could have just stuned him with a beeber...
A service dog can be anything - seeing eye, whatever. It should not be running around messing up the plane.
Kansas City, Mississippi? Really?
pucker up buttercup
'Nother LOL... :)
It was either a Shitzu or a CockaPoo
;-)
Who was the owner and why don’t they know better than to feed a big dog a big meal just prior to a long flight?
Even the staunchest supporter of police would have to laugh at that line. Good one.
Really...just a inconsiderate dog owner.
Besides, the dog should be in a cage on a flight.
Even a blind person does not need a service dog on a 4 hour flight, just to sit in the seat. The dog does not know where the restroom is if owner needs to go.
My guess is the crew had enough disgust after picking up the first load of dump. Lacking proper equipment such as pooper scooper, they decided to make a unscheduled stop, I do not blame them.
“A couple of people started dry-heaving, a couple of people were throwing up.”
I give this a 10 on the hooking hoot scale..
You don't think the owner was stupid enough to be on the plane, do you?
Mmmmmmmmmm - fish!
Just kidding - it was a service dog...
I have taken a small dog in a carrier into the passenger section of a plane several times, but a big dog running loose in a plane? Never saw that before.
“service dogs” more like pets. True and well trained service dogs don’t do this except in the direst emergency.
I have an acquaintance online who has had a “service dog” She trained him herself. He was no more a service dog than my cat is. I see it more and more now. Pets designated as “service animals”
My dog don’t like restaurant food. I threw down a half eaten big mac once. She just walked up and sniffed it and walked away. She won’t even take a dump if anyone is looking. I trust her more than most humans.
