“service dogs” more like pets. True and well trained service dogs don’t do this except in the direst emergency.

I have an acquaintance online who has had a “service dog” She trained him herself. He was no more a service dog than my cat is. I see it more and more now. Pets designated as “service animals”

ADA rules forbid anyone challenging the serviceability of a so-called service animal. Sure, they serve a useful, important service for people who need them. But many others have learned that simply declaring their pet a service animal lets them do whatever they please. I’m still waiting for someone to show up with a service horse - it’s covered by the rules.
