Even though it costs well over one million Euros, Pagani Huayra is selling like hot cakes. Each Huayra, as youd expect, is bespoke to its owner, and some of these owners evidently have a very unique taste. Recently five very special examples of the car were spotted at Pagani Factory in Italy, each sporting a unique color combo.
The classiest of the lot is a two-tone brown and tinted carbon model featuring yellow accenting, plus the Track Pack, black wheels, and gold brake calipers. This one is said to be heading to KSA (Saudi Arabia).
There is also a red Pagani Huayra being prepared for the U.S. market. This one is special due to its combination of metallic red and visible carbon, paired with matt gold wheels. Not to everyones taste, but very interesting nonetheless.
Not all Huayra owners have an extravagant taste in color. There is another U.S.-bound model finished in matte black combined with visible carbon fiber. It even has black wheels and black brake calipers, so it is not as eye-catching as the other examples here.
Next we have another simple Huayra finished in one-tone Aymara Gray, half matt and half polished, with exposed carbon bumpers. Other features include polished magnesium wheels with black brake calipers, and brown leather interior.
Our favorite of the bunch is the yellow Huayra. This ones finished in Geneva Yellow and features a classy brown tinted carbon fiber and black accents. What sets it apart is some special airbrushed graphics. This right-hand-drive model is headed to Hong Kong, boasting a yellow/black interior.
I’d like one, but I doubt it could cross the creek and make it through the mud hole at the end of the meadow before the road up the hill to the house.
How many bales does it haul?
If you could own one of these you most likely not have to “cross the creek and make it through the mud hole at the end of the meadow before the road up the hill to the house”.;)
At some point, aerodynamics limits styling choices.
Yep!
Nice
PING!
I’d get one, but I don’t like the mirrors.
The mirrors really ruin the cars styling.
The mirrors look like cheap add-ons from J.C. Whitney.
Does it have a cup holder?
For that kind of money they should have some rear facing cameras with a display on your dashboard or a pillars.
Whoa, nice, but imagine how great it will look with a lift kit and 35” tires. And maybe - dare I say it? - a set of those nekkid-lady mud flaps? You could screw an air horn on the hood, too.
The website provided NO pictures of the interior, which is one of the most beautiful currently offered in a production car, in my opinion.
Looks like a reprise of my 1979 Corvette L-82 popup head lights and all
Production? They build less than one a week at a price of over $1,000,000 to start. It hardly seems like a production car to me!
A few years ago on a business trip to Italy, my new partner arranged a private, after hours visit to the Pagani “factory”. The factory was located in the countryside and the production line was closer to a 3-car garage.
My Italian host had also arranged for me to test drive a Pagani but it was raining like a monsoon so that part of the visit was cancelled.
It was amazing to see the titanium tubes that formed the frame and the work station where the carbon fiber skin was stretched out.
Easily one of the most beautiful cars I’ve ever seen. As an aside, there seem to be Ferraris everywhere we went - almost commonplace - and they paled in comparison to the Pagani.
Later, I was interviewed by Robb Report on my visit as I was the US rep for an Italian-based, very high-end audio company that provided Pagani’s sound system. More info on my website here (scroll toward bottom of page): http://tmhaudio.com/ALEF.htm
Ha, it does doesn't it? And it looks like it was dumped on a back street in Detroit after the stereo system was stolen........
