We are a very accepting community that really takes care of each other Except those guilty of thoughtcrime, of course.

Until a comrade says something we don’t like. Then s/he is thrown under the bus.

Another “typical white person” gets canned for thinking wrong. That’s just the way white folk will do ya.

"I believe I did use the 'N' word in reference to the current occupant of the Whitehouse," Copeland wrote in the April email sent to the two other commissioners and forwarded to O'Toole. "For this, I do not apologize he meets and exceeds my criteria for such." Not the best way for a public official to go about keeping his job. I don't agree with PC witch hunts, but I can see why this would create some bad feelings.

I could see this coming. Unfortunately, the Sheriff didn’t have many defenders or not enough to ignore the hysteria.
One good thing is this man is 82 years old, and still active, I think he will get offers for some other job, in case he cannot afford to retire. He probably reached a point where he said “You know what, I really don’t even need to deal with this foolishness. Screw them, if my years of service can be canceled out so easily, and over a private damn conversation, at that! Let the town fall from the weight of it’s own ignorance!”

Should have just changed his political affiliation to Rat and then all would be forgiven.

Instead of putting the blame where it belongs on this one commissioner the media and the left will use this as a context to condemn the entire Republican Party. Don’t doubt that for a second.

Linda Murray should visit any bar at an international airport where American businessmen are drinking while waiting for their next plane connection.
Perhaps I should not have mentioned it — it may become a serious crime for which they can land in jail upon returning to the States.
