Anyone ever really seen a cesspool? Because when I say “China is the cesspool of the world” I wonder if anyone really understands how dangerous and disgusting it is

Not at my house it doesn’t.

My dogs love dried sweet potato slices.

*Why* are people still buying *any* of these toxic things for their dogs??

Mine have never even seen one of them and never will.

Our dogs never eat anything from China..just the occasional yams which they LOVE..and their wet food(WD and ID, special pooch food for dogs with sensitive tummies) and of course their dry food from the same company.

Of note:

The US government has approved the practice of sending US raised chickens to China to be processed into prepared foods, then shipped back here labeled as “Made in the USA”

I have been hearing about this for years now and still no answer. I’m starting to think they don’t want to find an answer. I only ever feed my girls treats from Blue Buffalo or Dinovite.

Switch to Soylent Green. Makes for a better treat for you and your dogs.

I used to feed my pets older pet food, bought 6 or more months before feeding. I used to stockpile pet food, just as I’m storing food for the family in the event of an economic collapse or other catastrophe.

Now, I do it on purpose to safeguard my pet’s health.

Even the expensive premium brands are not exempt. I had older bags of Natural Balance grain free cat food when the first poisonings from China started. That was melamine in the rice that Natural Balance imported.

We are importing over 90% of the seafood consumed now that Agenda 21 based fishing regulations have shipwrecked the American fishing industry.

I would be real careful about eating any imported fish or shrimp.

The Chinese govt. themselves admitted last week to widespread heavy metal contamination of their farmland.

It sounds like the producers and the government are “jerking” people around!

I’m so glad CONgress has decided to let a China process our chicken. What could go wrong?

I had someone give me a goody bag of treats for my dog a few Christmases ago. I threw the entire bag away because everything in it was made in China and it stunk to high heaven. I give my dog table scraps only along with his kibble.

China is a third-world nation which has zero respect for human life. I make sure to never buy anything made in China. It’s hard though.

Why anyone would want to buy ANYTHING made or manufactured in China is beyond me. Chinese stuff is CRAP!

83,300,000 pet dogs with 1,000 deaths allegedly by these jerky treats.

.0012% of the pet dog population.

the problem continues

The problem is that this has been going on for years, and there are US manufacturers who have really cleaned up their acts on providing healthy dog foods and treats. Now, the problem is that people are still feeding their pets Chinese crap. They're taking the risk to save a few dollars.

It's gotten so it's easier to find healthy, well-monitored pet foods than people foods.

At Sam’s I buy Betsy Farms “Natural Chicken Jerky Fillets.” It is labeled “Made in the USA.” I telephoned the company and was told that their chickens are, as the package states, raised in Idaho.

Seems safe to me. And my dog loves them.
