A pilot from New York believes he has found the wreckage of the missing Malaysia Airline Flight 370 off the coast of Thailand after searching thousands of satellite images online.
Michael Hoebel, 60, spent hours trawling through the images made available to the public on a crowd-sourcing website, TomNod.com, before coming across what he believes is the doomed plane.

Could be anything...........
Big shark...BIG shark!
Big Sea-Foot
Well there you have it. Problem solved. That is clearly the missing plane. It cannot be anything else.
GPS coordinates = ????

Thailand?
I still say it’s in the middle of the Everglades.
This has been shown before - about 2 weeks ago, IIRC - and turned out to be nothing.
More believable than in the Australian waters ,1600 miles to the south .
I think it’s Elvis.
I wonder how many ships have gone down over the years in those waters, hundreds?
One of the first steps is to find out how deep the water is at that location.
Most likely, it’s too deep to see a plane sitting on the sea floor.
Another step is to look at the location prior to the disappearance, to see if the object is already there.
Also look later, and see if it’s still there.
Just a couple simple steps to start trying to verify or eliminate, but the media never seems to bother.
These are getting to be like Elvis sightings.

Good deal CNN can devote another year to something no one really gives a crap about
“Thailand?”
Don’t start that again! Actually, someone should resurrect that old thread! It was hilarious!
Looks more like a whale with her calf ...
