The reporter may have called it twerking but it was just old fashioned jerkiness on the part of the wymen.

I was not aware that twerking involved peeing on cars.

According to the article they weren’t arrested for twerking. They were arrested for public urination and indecent exposure. Misleading title at The Chron.

Okay I admit it...I finally had to look up ‘twerking’ to see WTH is was. I am not the least bit offended by this new thing that involves girls shaking their stuff.

Laz would hit it, but are they Guilty or Innocent?

I think they're sorry for what they did, given the red eyes. Or maybe that's just the Mary Jane talkin'.

Cell phones? Check. Marijuana? Check. Cocaine? Check. Methamphetamines? Check. Prescription drugs? Check. Going commando? Check.

All set! Let's head down to City Hall and pay our fines.

Update!

Drug charges dropped against women accused in Beaverton twerking incident

By Everton Bailey Jr. | ebailey@oregonian.com

The Washington County District Attorney's Office has decided not to prosecute three women after Beaverton police say two of them exposed their genitals while dancing in front of City Hall and all three were later found with drugs.

Felony drug charges have been dropped against Brittany Medak, Leokham Yothsombath and Christie Coura because although Medak gave police consent to search her vehicle that authority did not lawfully extend to the search of the other two women's purses found inside, according to Jeff MacLean, a Washington County deputy district attorney. The remaining misdemeanor charges, including disorderly conduct and offensive littering, have been referred to the Beaverton City Attorney's Office for possible prosecution.

The county DA's office suggests a charge of indecent exposure be considered against Medak and Coura in Beaverton Municipal Court.

Beaverton police arrested Medak, 20, of Vancouver, Yothsombath, 22, of Portland, Coura, 20, of Vancouver, on April 28. All three were booked into the Washington County Jail and later released.

Medak was booked on charges of offensive littering, disorderly conduct, tampering with drug records and possession of a controlled substance. Coura faced charges of disorderly conduct, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance. Yothsombath was booked on charges of unlawful possession of cocaine, tampering with drug records and possession of a controlled substance.

Police say Coura went to Beaverton Municipal Court on April 28 with Medak and Yothsombath to pay an unrelated fine. After leaving the building, Coura and Medak began twerking outside and exposed their genitals near the municipal court windows as Yothsombath recorded them on her cell phone, police said.

Medak lifted her skirt and urinated between two cars at some point, according to police. Several municipal court employees witnessed the incident and contacted officers.

The Beaverton Police Department and municipal court are both located at City Hall.

The three soon drove away, but an officer stopped them in the area, searched the vehicle and found drugs, police said.

During the police search of Medak's vehicle, she was found with Xanax pills, a small amount of marijuana and two pipes, according to a county DA charging decision written by MacLean. The pills were in a prescription bottle labeled for a different drug and Medak told officers the drugs were from an old prescription.

Coura's and Yothsombath's purses were also found in the vehicle and searched. Baggies with methamphetamine and Adderall was found in Coura's purse and cocaine and Xanax was found in Yothsombath's purse, MacLean said.

Police did not get Coura and Yothsombath's specific consent or a warrant to search their purses, MacLean said. A tampering with drug records charge against Medak will also be dropped because the prescription on the bottle the Xanax was found in was not altered or forged, according to MacLean.

A clerk with the Beaverton City Attorney's Office confirmed Wednesday that disorderly conduct charges are still pending against Medak and Coura as well as an offensive littering charge against Medak. The clerk also said a city attorney has not yet decided whether to proceed with the case.
