I had no idea you could domesticate a bobcat... that would be cool. I have the wild version where I am, and they look like they could do you like trying to juggle 6 running chainsaws in a phone booth.

Bobcats can be the most domesticable of wildcats when raised from a kit, but they've got to spend almost all of their time outdoors.

No, I've never tried it myself and don't plan to, but I've learned that all one needs to do to acquire 'pet' bobcats in rural Nevada is to have a nice little unfenced grassy garden with water features in your backyard and no big dog around.

We had one that hung around the house in Tahoe when I was a kid. It use to mooch the cat food bowl and just sat around the back yard not too concerned about anything. The cats didn’t mind much either. One blessing was the raccoons didn’t come around and get in to the trash as often.

The old word was that Bobcats could not be dependably domesticated but larger Ocelots (Latin American) did make good pets. Ocelots are very beautiful as well. Bobcats are nice looking but not like Ocelots.
