Personally I think the scenario described is overly optimistic. That level of chaos would lead to loss of electricity, which would lead to loss of water, sewer, and everything else.
In particular, everyone who did not have access to water would panic within days. This would result in quickly spreading chaos. The death rate would be very high, with no chance of quickly restoring order.
Hunger would be close behind, followed shortly by dread diseases we have not seen in this country for generations.
Apparently the U.S. government has modeled this situation on a national level. The 3rd hand reports I have seen on these studies have a worst case death rate as high as 99% by the end of the first year. I have no direct knowledge of these studies, but it is easy to see how this could happen.
Let’s hope and pray this does not happen. But it most definitely could.

Keep in mind that the ones that survive the neighborhood rioting will mostly be gang members.

The truth is that MUYs are just itching forca reason to riot. It doesn’t take much to get them rolling, and LMPD proved Saturday just how unprepared (and clueless) local law enforcement is to rapidly step in and quell such a situation. All the MRAPs and black tac gear and SWAT trained officers aren’t going to make a lick of difference when one of these events actually reaches critical mass
It will be disturbing either way.
Because America will no longer be America, at that point.
Of course, it already isn’t. But that will be a whole new level.

Some security footage from at least one store that was partially looted. I’m on smartphone, have challenges posting links, by local stations wlky, wdrb and whas11 have stuff up on their sites.
In short, 200 MUYs staged a rolling riot that started at a pedestrian bridge NE of downtown (up the river a little ways) and worked it’s way clear across the central business district ... Ending at the corner where the local Federal Courthouse sits ... several miles away.
Only one arrest. Local cops are asking for tips on participants, but refusing to give discriptive details beyond the usual youths/teens.

My wife and I are preparing to get our concealed carry permits. It would have been interesting to have a carrying person come up on a group kicking a man and, when they turn on him, empty a magazine from his Glock 17 into them. This isn’t NJ. I doubt that he would be charged. And maybe the punks would learn their lesson - it’s not the cops they need to worry about.

The oligarchs who put little barry bastard boy in the White House have the belief that the populations of nations must be drastically reduced asap. Fedzilla preparations for dealing with the scene AFTER starvation, disease, and chaos have softened up the landscape should tell US all something very frightening about the people running America. It is already too late to stop these bastards from bringing it all down around US. And these same evil bastards have their enclaves stocked and ready to receive them. Wake up, America. FEDGOV will never let EBT run out because they control the printing press. They can always just print more money, thereby deflating the currency and placing the burden of supporting the FSA on everyone else.
