WASHINGTON (AP) -- Black students are more likely to be suspended from U.S. public schools -- even as tiny preschoolers.
The racial disparities in American education, from access to high-level classes and experienced teachers to discipline, were highlighted in a report released Friday by the Education Department's civil rights arm.
The suspensions -- and disparities -- begin at the earliest grades.
Black children represent about 18 percent of children in preschool programs in schools, but they make up almost half of the preschoolers who are suspended more than once, the report said. Six percent of the nation's districts with preschools reported suspending at least one preschool child.

Don’t you know it’s worse now than it was in 1950 Selma, Alabama? Why, just the other day I saw the police dogs snapping and the fire hoses spraying some young, defenseless, poor, troubled, at-risk, left-behind, hungry, disadvantaged, held-back, and otherwise just not able to keep up because of circumstances beyond their control, newborn infants in the tent set aside for the coloreds next to the local hospital where their mommas had just given birth. Next time you wish to write such an insensitive set of sentences, you just remember my words young fella, and you just look around. Perhaps we all need to understand the privilege we do not see as our bright skin is white like the lily-devils that play in the meadows of inequality and that it has blinded us to such things! Why, in this single matter alone, it is obvious, legislation must be passed that for every child of non-European lineage lashed at the whipping-post of preschool suspension, seventeen chalky-skinned babies must be given up to the liberal-arts university of their parent’s choice, to be raised in whatever manner deemed fit by the council of non-white-devil studies.
Lack of fathers. That’s the reason, period.
Its because far too many of them are being raised in multi generational dependency households, more often than not without fathers, and damned often by mothers who are basically children themselves.
They show up to school without basic social skills or discipline and as such wind up getting into more trouble.
This has nothing to do with the color of their skin.
When I was in elementary school, our bus route got combined with a route for kids from the black side of town. It was my first encounter with black kids in large groups and it was extremely unpleasant. Everyone was poor in this town so it had nothing to do with that. It just so happens that most white kids have dads who are somewhat involved and most black kids don’t.
You’re right about that. Too many Black men love to have sex, but they don’t want to bear the responsibility of parenting.
I suspect that is because in preschool, is the first time they come face to face with any kind of discipline.
They fail to mention that this occurs at mainly black schools, with suspensions given by black teachers, organized by black school administrators. Its an observable fact that children without two parents and a strong home life are much more prone to misbehavior, ADHD, etc... 70% out-of-wedlock births DOES have consequences.
You have to understand the basis of liberalism/humanism in order to understand their point.
Instead of evil coming from within, liberals assume that evil behavior is always in reaction to environment or provocation.
So, they instantly assume that these preschoolers are being discriminated against by the school because they are the ones acting up disproportionately.
And more precisely, it’s probably the first time they’ve encountered being denied their base drives and desires.
An issue that Barack Hussein Ubama only touched upon during his primary run (leading to Jesse Jackson making the "someone should cut his nuts off" comment).
Mere talking points to get votes for Mr. Obama (who's own daddy ran out on him AND his mommy did too!). Now the issue is "racist" if you bring it up.
That fact in itself means nothing.
Sorry, libs, but time to start admitting that they are suspended more (if true) because they act up more.
Period.
What you suggest is not allowed, because it would be racist to say that the black community need to be better parents, or that children need fathers, or any of that.
So then we come back to white mofos being the problem. If only whites didn’t try to pass judgement on black behavior, then there would be no problem to discuss.
It is of course racist to even consider that disparities in discipline could be the simple result of disparities in behavior.
I live in an area that is predominantly black and Hispanic.
The difference in the “parenting styles” of the two groups is quite amazing, even at very young ages.
I will very often see a Hispanic family together of dad, mom and the kids at the store. A black man seen with woman and kids is unusual enough I do a bit of a double-take.
The black mommas will walk down the sidewalk of a busy street with tiny little children trailing them 20 or 30 feet behind. Never even look around. Makes my skin crawl and I want to go hold the child’s hand and protect her. Which of course would be a VERY bad idea, so I don’t.
Black mommas will scream the most appalling threats at their very young children in public, and fairly often will hit them really hard, and not in a “spanking” type of way.
I think it is almost a truism that parenting styles this different are likely to produce different behavior in very young children.
It should be unnecessary, but I’ll say it anyway. I’m referring to a general tendency among this group that I’ve observed. I’m not trying to say it applies to every member. I have black friends who are very kind and loving parents to their children.
Muslim children are more likely to strap on bomb belts and blow innocent people to bits!Is this profiling?
No parents. No discipline. No concept of social behavior. Children of any color should be penalized for bad behavior. That is how civilization is supported.
