A new report by the Robert Powell Center for Medical Ethics at National Right to Life warns that one of the Obamacare provisions that ex-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Americans would discover if Congress passed the bill is that some seniors will not be allowed to spend as much as they wish on their health care.
The extreme position was revealed in a special report by the NRLC titled “The Affordable Care Act and Health Care Access in the United States,” which analyzes four fundamental policy areas of Obamacare.
It finds several ways that the federal health care law “will drastically limit access to life-saving medical treatment under the law.”
“These four areas include: the ‘excess benefit’ tax coming into effect in 2018, the current exclusion of adequate health insurance plans from the exchanges, present limits on senior citizens’ ability to use their own money for health insurance, and federal limits on the care doctors give their patients to be implemented as soon as 2016.”

You better have a passport to access the healthcare you may need in the future. Since they can ration who gets passports and even cancel passports, consider a second passport from another country.
Since they limit payment using your own funds to pay for your own healthcare, move some money outside the country in order to pay for healthcare outside the country. Be sure to file the FBAR, etc., in order to stay out of trouble.

I would hope that that is wrong and some lawsuit could be brought about under another approach.
If you have to be injured in order to bring the lawsuit, they just need to wait (delay) after you file and you will die out from under the suit. See, all fixed, no lawsuit, must mean that the law was good in the first place, right? (sarc)

I keep dreaming that John Roberts will awaken from his slumber and say “Enough of this crap”.
But I guess he is living proof that Supreme Court Justices can be BULLIED.
So much for the vaunted ‘concierge care’.
I would think that this will put an end to new cures for things.
He’s living proof they can be blackmailed. The Founding Fathers knew this was a possibility so they defined what it would take to impeach a judge. I guess they never figured that half of congress would be blackmailed, too. Or would be just plain corrupt.
So, if I read this correctly, we senior citizens, who have paid for Medicare for decades and are still paying for and had the ability to save money and make it grow will be punished if we decide to pay for some medical services from our savings?”

The bureaucrats seem poised to inflicting regs that prevent the insured (that is everyone, theoretically), from paying for and receiving treatment that has been denied or considered to be uncovered or experimental. This could apply to providers in and out of Medicare.
At the present time, Medicare patients can self-pay and receive uncovered services from a Medicare provider with an ABN (advanced beneficiary notice). Who knows whether this practice will survive. Medicare patients can also pay for services from an opted-out provider.
In theory, all experimental, uncovered, and cosmetic services could be prohibited. Even over the counter meds and medical appliances (braces, canes, walkers etc.) would fall into this category as uncovered treatment. But more troubling is that Pelosi and Kerry will have to go offshore for their facelifts.
I know that the commies really want to do this, but this is really an over-reach. States need to act by ensuring that anyone can pay for their own healthcare services if they so desire.
Nice idea, but I seriously doubt that many of us have such an excess of funds to send to foreign banks-rather like those who post that we must all “send a large donation” to this or that political candidate in every campaign, some don’t realize that not everyone-such as older blue collar people-can afford that stuff, so we’ll work to change things here so concierge works for us. And why would I trust a foreign bank in this economy if I had the money to put there?

The Clinton’s had possession/access to A LOT of FBI files. Many in the GOP leadership won’t fight/resist the Communist party’s actions.
Makes you wonder who got compromised and who is being blackmailed.

Because many are far, far better capitalized and have far, far better reserves and liquidity than any US bank.
Since I’ve never been in a position to go putting money in a foreign bank, I’ll have to leave that safety factor to those who do, but I’m fresh out of concern-I barely have enough to live in this Obamaeconomy, with so little work. All my prayers and hopes are for more work...
With Roberts it is Supreme Court Justices can be bought, bribed or all such terms. People should be advised of Robert’s going into the Vatican Bank on Malta with a brief case. This is in public publications.

Note that some of the excerpts actually use healthcare as an example of things which Congress has no constitutional authority to regulate, tax and spend for.
Apparently if the death panel says you need to suffer or die, they want to be sure it happens.
