“It’s bad enough we have to vote for this crap, do you expect us to watch it too?”
Best Socially Relevant Picture
Best Foreign Socially Relevant Picture
Best Short... Socially Relevant Picture
All New Categories for the 2015 Oscars...should we live so long.
I’d love to hear their explanation of how its “socially relevant”.
Obama won the Nobel Peace Prise without doing anything.
so what movie will win in 2015? 12 Years Of the KKK?
White Guilt President, White Guilt Film, why not?!
The same reasoning that went into voting for best picture was used in 2008 and 2012.
Progressives are the social engineers who perpetually need to “help” blacks ... Why not Affirmative Action Oscars?
Coming next...reparations paid to all blacks for slavery of 150 years ago, and payment for any and all discrimination today.
“But they said they voted for it anyway because, given the film’s social relevance, they felt obligated to do so.”
I can see this on Rush’s “I told you so”.
Happens all the time. It shouldn’t, but it does.
How appropriate. The Oscars, as fake as the movies they reward.
I didn’t watch the Oscars but one of the talk radio shows played a couple of Ellen’s jokes as host. One was something like: “Lots of suspense tonight. There is a 50% chance that 12 Years a Slave will win Best Picture, and there is a 50% chance that you are all racists.”
Flat out lame movie. The main character is supposed to be a very educated black man yet he can’t figure out which way is North for twelve years. All in all, it was not worth the bandwidth to steal it and my media player only skipped forward at 10 second clips. Those two that didn’t watch it saved their last remaining brainc ells to rub together.
Next year’s Best Picture:
“Travon”
It was ordained to honor another white-guilt-trip movie to win this year.
Can’t wait to see a movie based on a non-black family torn apart by a brutal death at the hands of a black flash mob or “knockout” game.
When’s that drama coming to the screen?
Next year it will be back to gays again. And Ellen will lead them to the water...
bump
Hey, hundreds of members of our congress (if not every one of them) never read the multi-thousand page Obamacare crap, yet they voted for it. Is anybody surprised?
