Remember that ending scene out of Indiana Jones where the Ark of the Covenant is boxed up and wheeled through an endless government warehouse?
Did you know that that place actually exists?
It is located 30 minutes outside Washington, D.C., at Fort Belvoir in Virginia. The building itself is very nondescript

They can't hide it forever. There's a line item on the museum specs that reads "subterranean slime pits, pressurized".

Thanks for the ping to this excellent post.
The Roswell aliens are probably in cold storage at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
The Ark of the Covenant is said to be in Ethiopia.
Gee imagine what is being hidden away in Warehouse 13 in the South Dakota Badlands.
Raising the funds to build the museum has been the main problem. The majority percentage of the cost must be provided by the private sector, and the donations have not been coming in. The Army is providing the land at Ft. Belvoir, provided the good citizens of Virginia don’t begin another “not in my back yard” protest that has cause 3 relocations of the proposed spot in the last 10-15 years.
The totally private Army Historical Foundation is the fund raising organization for the National Museum of the US Army. A museum for the Army was authorized by Congress in the 1800’s but the cavaet with that no govenment funds would be spent.
Being somewhat aquainted with the Smithsonian, their exhibit schedule is based on 6 and 12 month rotations, not monthly.
Also, don’t worry the Center of Military history is having its staff cut by 25% as part of the DoD headquarters reduction over the next two years.
You and your staff enable us to have a pretty spring and summer. Don’t get grumpy yet!
Nah. . .Groom Lake.
And all the aliens didn’t die, they just moved to San Francisco after the battle and truce between the Grey and Humans against the Reptilians. . .and after they closed their base in Dulche, NM.
Astonishing collection! Thank you for posting.
Not grumpy - just overwhelmed to the point where it haunts my dreams! :)
See my post # 25 on why NMUSA is not yet built.
Did anyone doubt the veracity of that ending?
The plot is always thicker and deeper, and the conspiracies more complicated than the mundanes know.
Be sure you stick to the Official Cover Story, and keep the Real Secrets ... secret.
Way cool!
I spent 3+ years as an instructor at Belvoir. Never knew this facility was there.

The Registry of the American Soldier provides an opportunity for anyone who served in the U.S. Army to have his or her name and service history placed on record at the Museum. If you served, you need to be in the Registry!
You may also register the name of a family member or friend, if they currently serve, or have served in the U.S. Army, or submit someone from the past.
The Registry will be on permanent display at the Museum, and it will be accessible via the internet for those who cannot visit in person.
The Registry of the American Soldier is a publicly submitted listing of those who served in the U.S. Army. There is no fee for submitting a Soldier's name or photo to the Registry. The Registry is not an official document of the U.S. Government.
Have no fear. Some of your coporate masters stuff will be winging its way to me very soon now. I’m sure your customers are just waiting for a break in the weather in ‘Ice Age Wisconsin’.
Hitler made a giant underground cavern too. Watch it on Netflix, “The Reich Underground”.
I’ll wait until We kick islamist ass and can see that collection before I’ll contribute to the museum.
