One of my favorites. I manages to do more with music, setting and some excellent acting then newer movies can do with millions spent on VR and a body count that would make Stalin blush.

Saw that chiller as a kid, and I could barely stand being alone in the house, especially after dark. But it was/ is my favorite ghost film of all.

Years later I saw a rerun, and I had to laugh. In the scene where Milland is out on the sailboat with the heroine, he has his hat on. Suit and tie too? I can’t remember.
