It’s a need to know thing. No worries.
... And all 26% voted for O’bummer
I would like to see some statistics on these 26%
Wait. Ive gotten that wrong. Its four turtles riding on one elephant. Glad I checked that out with Wikipedia.
What’s the percentage of people who don’t realize we live in a fascist dictatorship?
If you ask those in San Francisco they could not tell you much about the sun, but they are very knowledgeable about the seventh planet, as a matter of fact you could say they are totally focused on it.
Let me guess...college students that will sign whatever petition you offer them and inner city minorities.
“The Atlantic reported. The foundation said there has been little change in the percentages of correct answers since 1992.
1992 shows the result of the War on Poverty for close to 3 decades.
But they know what goes around Uranus!
Technically they both orbit around a common center of mass.
So they are still stupid, but not as stupid.
Is this a poll of normal Americans or did they just poll the scientists who claim Global Warming is “settled science”
Nevertheless, wouldn't you like to know what percentage of, so-called, "science teachers" in our public schools know the common center of gravity of this star system lies deep within the Sun?
How many of the latter know Earth is closer to the Sun in January than in June?
Damnation on our schools for teaching kids that weather originates from their parents "burning coal" to run their hair dryers.
Sherlock Holmes told Watson that he worked hard to know absolutely EVERYTHING that might be useful in solving crimes.
But since the question of whether the earth orbits the sun or vice versa is of absolutely no use in solving crimes, he never bothered to study that question.
How many in the U.S. know that people lie to pollsters, intentionally mislead them, how many know not to post duplicate threads, and how many know the difference between “its” and “it’s”?
Yes, but it’s critical that every one of these people vote. /s
It appears we’ve reached a max achievement level for public education, since these data haven’t gone up one iota after nearly a quarter century of dumping trillions of our tax dineros into it. Maybe it’s time we shifted those resources over to paying down Obama’s all-time-world- record new debt, or other important purposes, or just lower taxes and let us keep more of what we earn through our own labors. The 26 percent can still sell hamburgers to each other without having to understand quantum mechanics, anyway.
Alternative headline: 26% of Americans believe being asked if the sun revolves around the earth is such an asinine question that they jerked the chains of the pollsters.
It’s not necessary to know, and is not a requirement for the procurement of government money for public schools therefore.....It does not matter!
Sorry, that knowledge is not necessary to collect benefits. Talk to somebody else...
