How many in the U.S. know that people lie to pollsters, intentionally mislead them, how many know not to post duplicate threads, and how many know the difference between its and its?I take strong exception to your duplicate thread reference.
Every Freeper knows not to post duplicates of threads previously posted, but only certified ESP-ers can avoid doing it consistently.
From the reader's perspective, it's a silly nonsensical rule anyway.
Personally, I would rather suffer duplicate threads that I can skip over, than miss a truly interesting thread posted a half hour to four hours ago, depending on how busy a posting day it happens to be.
