I kinda like this chick - she looks like she’s got spunk. Although it could just be different combination from the shallow end of the gene pool. Hope she runs the tab way up and then goes off on someone...she’s young, plenty of time for more rehabs in nice spots like this.

I wish the young lady the best. It’s not easy for a family to make the emotional, time, and financial commitment involved in sending someone to these treatment facilities. It involves shared responsibility for the addiction and recovery.

35K really is not that bad. I had to deal with an x-spouse in and out of rehab’s for the better part of half a decade. The x-spouse had addiction issues so E.R. was 5500.00 with a couple days in detox (tack on another couple grand) then on to post-detox rehab which was 13-15K a week. Following that, outpatient continuing services at 3-7K a week depending on provider. 35K a month for some mental health (i.e., the same as post detox treatment) is NOT bad. The only problem with rehab’s and mental health stays is they turn into a revolving door never quite finishing what they intended to start. At any rate, I have witnessed a former spouse do 14+ “rehab’s” with all the detox’s in tow. I hate to say it, but it is a racket and there should be a limit as some folks just treat it as an extension of their addiction and everyone loses in the end.
