Need to turn over a city bus and light it on fire to have a really good riot.

This has nothing to do with sports victories or defeats. It’s just an excuse for those who would riot just because it was a day that ended in the letter “y”.

They’ll riot over meaningless sports scores but they won’t riot when the government steals from them right in front of their face.

Vancouver has had TWO Stanley Cup riots. So you guys have a ways to go to catch-up to those people up the road.

Any town where Amanda Knox is a heroine is liable to riot for most any reason.

BTW, I thought the game was next week. Apparently so did the Benver Droncos.

There is everywhere and at all times an element that is never far from total and unrestrained anarchy... they LOVE and PREFER disorder.

They defy the rules and laws of accepted conduct and they mock and defy efforts (official or otherwise) to maintain decorum and order.

I live in Canton, Ohio and during the annual Football Hall of Fame festivities, this element is EVERYWHERE.

They seem to come out of the woodwork and take over the environment.

It’s the reason you have to avoid all the events at all costs.

I used to live in an apartment facing the parade route and you cannot imagine the unspeakably coarse and disgusting behavior of these people... on public and private property.

They will NOT even be shamed into proper behavior. I used to dread the event every year!!

Pretty mild compared to what has happened in other cities after something like this - a few couches were burned in front of frat houses near the UW, some damage was done to the pergola in Pioneer Square, the cops were on scene and it wasn’t nearly that bad. The headline from some nobody’s blog says RUN RIOT - not true.

Them there 0bama supporters sure know how to throw a Super Bowl Party. And, if they haven’t gotten their 0bama phones or TVs, yet, they’ll just take ‘em ‘cause they’re entitled!

and ripping down street signs during raucous scenes last night.
Raucous scenes? I must be getting old - I remember when they were called RIOTS and the cops used to shut them down.

I don’t recall hearing of ANY riots when the Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl a few years ago. Rioting must be a big city liberal hell hole thing.

Ten pictures taken at different angles of the same burning couch in the UDist is not a riot. A riot is what Denver did when they won the SB a while back -smashed store windows overturned cars. The media hypes the riot police but all they did mostly is stand around, direct traffic and call the FD to put out the couch fire(s).

It was hardly a riot. By Detroit and LA standards it was a tea party.

So a bunch of drunk college kids on frat row started burning their furniture. They don’t need a football game for that.

Morons were jumping onto the hoods of taxicabs, but none set on fire and no police were assaulted. Some of our more stellar citizens damaged the glass panes of an historic pergola, but that was the extent of it.

Pretty tame riot.
