In another shameful reminder of how Americans care more about sports than the future of their own country, Seattle Seahawks fans reacted to their teams Super Bowl victory by behaving like animals lighting fires, damaging historic buildings and ripping down street signs during raucous scenes last night.

Hopefully they’ll smash every surveillance camera in town . . . Nah, they won’t - dems Obamacms!
Pot and caffeine.
I don’t recall hearing of ANY riots when the Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl a few years ago. Rioting must be a big city liberal hell hole thing.
Ten pictures taken at different angles of the same burning couch in the UDist is not a riot. A riot is what Denver did when they won the SB a while back -smashed store windows overturned cars. The media hypes the riot police but all they did mostly is stand around, direct traffic and call the FD to put out the couch fire(s).
I was hoping this wouldn’t happen, but...damn.
The 12th man is a thug.
Heck it looks like Chapel Hill on a ‘Heels National Championship win.
the new, left coast, 5 hour energy!!
my home state of NY, and nearby NYC, is used to winning teams.
they DO NOT RIOT.....PERIOD!
It was hardly a riot. By Detroit and LA standards it was a tea party.
So a bunch of drunk college kids on frat row started burning their furniture. They don’t need a football game for that.
Morons were jumping onto the hoods of taxicabs, but none set on fire and no police were assaulted. Some of our more stellar citizens damaged the glass panes of an historic pergola, but that was the extent of it.
Pretty tame riot.
When they surpass the Nika Riots of 532 AD, let me know....
are you an Amanda Knox lawyer, or what.
she won a trial....went home, then they tried her in absentia using Italian double jeopardy and she was convicted again...
I don’t know if she did it or not, but I am not willing to let the Italian justice system decide....they have had 62 new governments since WW2. they might as well be a south American banana republic and my forebears come from there.
After the Pittsburgh Penguins’ Stanley Cup win in ‘09 a few couches got burned in and around the Pitt campus.
The reaction of local politicians was to pass a law making it illegal to have a couch on your front porch in the City of Pittsburgh.
Do you have a”Designated-Driver”/????????????????
Guess that’s cause they never been there before. For some reason the Cowboy and Spur fans never riot when those teams win the championships.
They said there were a few arrests at frat row, but nothing major. As I watched the kids through their couches and mattresses on the fire in the middle of the road I was thinking “They’ll be regreting that tomorrow night.” Perhaps the head of the frat house will be making them sleep in the bathroom a few nights?
Gee my city Los Angeles has more riots than Seattle LOL!
