Yeah. Buy stock in buggy whips. Those horseless carriages are going nowhere.

I remember when ATM’s first got really popular:

Old people HATED them.

This time it’s the same.

What I have read about Bitcoin brings to mind the ole pyramid schemes that were rampant in the mid 1980s.

They may be completely different, but coinage out of thin air [i.e., web mining] makes me suspicious, especially when there it an alternative — patrons can purchase Bitcoins with ‘real’ coins.

It seems to me to be an effective and secure means of exchange and cheaper than traditional means. Therein lies its value. The problem may be that the government will want its greasy paws on the value from Bitcoin facilitated exchanges. So it will face strong hostility from those quarters, of course.

TigerDirect beats the pants off the big-box stores like Best Buy. I’ve bought my computer there and I’m buying another TV. Plus the standard shipping - stuff arrives in 1-2 days.

ATMs are just a fad. Just you wait and see—they’ll soon fade away and the rare, occasional one still around will simply be a curiousity.

Tiger Direct has a brick and mortar location here in West Palm Beach. When I was building one of my rigs, all the good video cards were flying off the shelves and they had no idea what was happening. I asked a number of the sales associates do you know what Bitcoin is? I got the classic deer in the headlights look from them, they had no clue.

I told them they should have a banner made that says “ MINING HEADQUARTERS” and hang it out front and watch what happens. It is really enjoyable to be on top of this thing and watch it all happen.
HISTORY!

Going to Miami for the North American Tulip Bulb (bitcoin) Conference. Open house pre party at the Clevelander Hotel Friday night@7:00pm WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO!

"ATMs are just a fad".

If ATMs are just a fad, they will have to be replaced by something much more efficient like Bitcoin.

I was just kidding about ATMs being a fad—and I suspect that Bitcoin will not be a fad.

ATMS are outdated since they are using Windows XP. The banks should just remove them.
