SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Reuters) - A Texas woman arrested on suspicion of killing her newborn son and dumping him in the trash told detectives she "strangled the baby and watched him die," according to an arrest affidavit released by San Antonio police on Wednesday.
The body of the infant, likely less than a week old, was found stuffed in a duffel bag on the intake conveyor belt of a Waste Management recycling center in San Antonio two days before Christmas.

I suggest that you look for someone else to bully.
I agree. I simply brought up the question as to maybe why she did it is all.
As I mentioned - it was simply a question as to maybe why she did it is all.
Again - I was simply asking a question as to what may have caused her to kill her baby.
With respect to Postpartum Depression being real... I’ll back you on that. A few years ago, a medical doctor in Baltimore threw herself off the hospital roof. She had given birth eight weeks prior. Yes.. Postpartum. I worked at enough hospitals that had psychiatric wards and saw the women who were diagnosed with it. Some had Depression and a few had postpartum psychosis. Sad, sad cases.. that were helped with a lot of medications.
Bully?????
Dear momofthree, I’m NOT defending her actions. I’m simply saying she is still a young girl/woman. She doesn’t know who she is or what it’s all about yet . . . lighten up just a tad please. I’ve seen firsthand what a 23-25 year old “woman” can do to ruin her own life and the MANY around her. 30 years later and I’m still grieving. But that’s MY bag-o-bricks to carry. I can assure you though, God Himself will give this “woman” her just reward.
Exactly.
I wasn’t picking on you, Snooter. I was upset by the article. Please accept my apologies. I am sorry you went through what you did. Sounds like you went through a lot if you are still upset about it 30 years later. I guess time doesn’t heal all wounds. Hugs.
Thank you. I appreciate your response. I’ve had to deal with women in the outback stations some of whom suffered from it. I really learned a lot about PPD because of it.
momtothree to SkyDancer With respect to Postpartum Depression being real... Ill back you on that. A few years ago, a medical doctor in Baltimore threw herself off the hospital roof. Democrat convention speaker in 2016?
Baby blues.. as some describe is normal. I’ve seen the NOT normal ones. They are seriously ill.. especially the psychotic ones. They even became violent and had to have four point restraints so they wouldn’t injure themselves or others. Not sure of the medications used for Postpartum but I usually saw them leave the hospital in two weeks... looking and sounding normal.
Did she take them one by one to the bathroom, subdue them, and drown them in the tub?
I know you were not picking on me momtothree and no apology is necessary. It would be my wish that young ladies KNOW what they’re in for when bringing a new life into this world before doing so.
I’ve heard it said and then actually noticed, that young minds aren’t fully developed until around 25-26 yrs. of age. Just take a look at the “youth” vote in the last Presidential election ! ! Proofs in ‘da pudding !
Peace & Love To You,
Snoot ;o)
Those women had care which prevented that. Take Care, have a nice day.

Killing a child deliberately HAS no defense. PERIOD!
***
Exactly. May she rot in hell.
You too.
I would think a San Antonio jury would be symathetic to the “poor” woman.
