She had given birth eight weeks prior. Yes.. Postpartum. I worked at enough hospitals that had psychiatric wards and saw the women who were diagnosed with it. Some had Depression and a few had postpartum psychosis. Sad, sad cases.. that were helped with a lot of medications.
