As most Americans are planning for this week's Christmas Celebration, it seems the Obama Administration has found itself a nice little military conflict to get us involved in with the possible hope of deflecting from the failures that is Obamacare.
CBS Evening News tonight reported that more than 120 U.S. troops station in Spain are heading for the African Nation of Djibouti to help with the possible evacuation of U.S. Embassy Personnel from the nation of Southern Sudan, which has been in the grips of a civil war for months now. Last week 4 U.S. Military Personnel were wounded as their V-22 came under ground fire from rebel forces, just one day after a U.N. Helicopter was downed by rebel ground fire in the same area.
It seems suspect to me that Africa Command would deploy 2 V-22 into a hot L.Z. with possibility of hostile ground fire, but with no close in air support such as Harriers or Cobra Helicopter Gunship, of which all have been upgraded over the last decade to work in connection with the V-22.
There is no place in the world where we need to be less than central Africa. Sub Saharan wars have a savage brutality that can’t be matched.

And now that he has purged the military of most of the leadership that might say “no”, he will get away with engaging our military in yet another conflict that we don’t belong in.
There’s always South Carolina. They’ve been uppity lately. And it worked out pretty well last time.
The movie “Wag The Dog” comes to mind.
Yup....Southern Sudan....EXCEPT....heard it was mostly Christian...so he might just be the watchful eye of the killing of Christians.
I think they have identified two candidates in Africa, Sudan and Central African Republic.
