KAILUA, Hawaii – The now familiar signs that President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, daughters Sasha and Malia and First Dog Bo will be arriving in Hawaii for Christmas are appearing in the close knit beachside community on Oahu’s windward side.
Coast Guard officials have contacted boat owners in the area to remind them the canal and popular surf spot fronting the private beachfront homes where the President will vacation beginning Friday are off limits for 17 days. The Coast Guard also has released information on the temporary security zone that will be enforced from 6 a.m. on Friday to 10 p.m. on Jan. 5, 2014.
Black SUVs and government issued vans are parked along the street fronting homes now occupied by the U.S. Secret Service, Navy Seals and Coast Guard.
By the time the President arrives, concrete blockades and security will bar direct entrance to Kailuana Place where the President stays. Coast Guard on armed boats will patrol the canal and ocean. All airlines will be barred from flying over the island.

Ok folks. This could be a bargain. It costs 4 million dollars for them to stay in Hawaii for 17 days. So if you divide 365 into 17, you get 21.47 so lets make that 22. 4 million times 22 million equals 88 million. We get a huge bargain if they stay there for a year. Only 264 million for 3 years. I say lets make this happen. We will save huge amounts of money having him away from DC. Plus the biggest bargain of all is not seeing him anymore.

If 17 days of vacation in Hawaii costs the taxpayers $4 million, then 365.25 days of vacation in Hawaii would cost around $88 million. At this rate, we could keep the Marxist in Hawaii for the duration of his second fraudulent term for only $264 million.
If we could return to pre-Obama budgets during this time, my estimate is that this would save about $3 trillion.

FWIW, Bush spent every Christmas at Camp David. Knowing there is a year-round platoon of Marines assigned to defend the compound, The Bush family’s extended stay on the Maryland mountaintop enabled the Secret Service people assigned to enjoy the holidays with their families. Even though Bush had the ranch available, the mountain retreat is especially situated to require minimal additional protection for the family.
I wrote my comment before I saw yours, never dreaming anyone else would have arrived at the same conclusion in the same way.
