“Amazing.” The most overly used word in the English language.

And flounder now means the same thing as founder! I think it came about because of “Animal House.”

Mine is “dude.” The second placed one is “you know . . .” spoken right before you even make your initial comment. And third, “I mean . . .”

I thought it was going to be ‘bullying’. Seems like I hear that every other day about some contrived offense (although almost always with respect to a Sodomite getting their feelings hurt).

The word that annoys me most is “right”. Everything is a “right” these days. Foreigners now have the “right” to be subsidized by the American taxpayers. People have a “right” to have someone else pay their medical bills. Animals have “rights”.

No, to me the most annoying and irritating word is the inappropriate use of “like” as in “I was like...” We were like...” ad nauseam.

If you remomoved the word “like” from the English language, half of the people under the age of 25 in this country would be speechless.

How about the words uttered by collectivists, “forward,” and “progress.” They have so hijacked for so long...

“So” used at the beginning of a sentence. This is used exclusively by well educated liberal government bureaucrats.

Mine is a bunch of words “The truth of the matter”

It’s not the truth it’s the speaker’s opinion. Gutfeld should ban the phrase.
