Yeah. 24.3 million pounds.
Maybe not so much when you consider she asked for 150 million and Macca had offered 15 million.

"You picked one release from each of them as an example"
Those were the only songs I could think of because I never found either of them interesting. I like music that makes me tap my toe.

Well, for that I would recommend McCartney's "Venus and Mars" album. For Lennon, I would download "Double Fantasy" and delete the Yoko tracks. Or, you could got light pop and give a listen to Ringo Starr's "Goodnight Vienna". Harrison has no toe-tapping albums.
Or, you could just bag all of the Beatles and pick up an old Billy Joel album. Maybe that's what you already did.

Sheesh, McCartney was hamming it up for the Jumbotron. Give the guy a break. It’s not like he bowled over a 5 year old to grab the t-shirt out of her hands.

Hey, sometimes Paul can drive me crazy but trying to snag a free tee at the ball game is as American as apple pie. I bet he’s given out his share over the years. We should just chill and let the dude enjoy the game and catch a little NBA fever.

"I can't think of a single thing he's recorded that I can listen to."
Right after the Beatles break up he released some pretty good stuff. "Ram" and "Red Rose Speedway" are as good as pop gets. I think he peaked with "Band on the Run". In an interview Lennon gave to Playboy in the year before he died he said he thought Paul had never gotten the credit he was due for his chops on the bass. Lennon said Paul was easily the best bass player he ever played with by a wide margin.

So I take it that Travelena has pretty much replaced Don Ho or Wayne Newton for being a schmaltzmeister? There’s room for everybody on Broadway or in Reno. Just think for millions of folks, Neil Diamond can do no wrong, and has a big cult=like following. I’ve never understood that group, but I’m not his usual demographic. More power to them both.

Ask some chicks, he always seemed to be much loved by them.

Not this chick.
And nowadays he looks like a chick.

Pete made about 5,000,000$ from the Anthology 1 royalties. Good for him.

We held up a poster sized bulls eye target once when they did this at the minor league hockey games. The shooter was determined to hit the target and fired four shirts at us, we got three of them.

Thanks. But, for me there’s no there, there. I like music that is less ‘commercial’. I’ll stick with the blues.

And that's why there's so many flavors of ice cream.

He looks like Bruce Jenner now. They must have the same plastic surgeon. It's just the effect of the plastic surgery he had in the mid 60s when they had to make him look like the real Paul McCartney.
