It was a pretty funny SNL skit, with Paul Simon.

It’s the one that starts with Paul singing “Still Crazy After All these Years” in a chicken suit.

Billy Jack spent half of the movie preaching peace, love and the virtues of gun control. He spent the other half of the movie beating people up and shooting them.

Olivia de Haviland and Pete Seeger and Lawrence Ferlinghetti are still with us, but probably not for long. That Communist Pete Seeger is still breathing?

Born May 3 1919, and he’s still performing on occasion.

As bad as it was, I loved it. Some of it has to do that I was dating my husband when we saw it back in the 70s, but mostly it was so campy! I’ve tried to get my kids to watch it to get a feel what the hippies’ 60s were like. It’s almost like watching a satire of the 1960s, except that it wasn’t.

No worries - I follow him on FB - he’s been fairly ill of late and just got out of the hospital a few weeks ago, the man is amazing!

"Billy Jack one of the worst movies ever made"...well no it was bad but not the worst.....We were in the Drive-in watching, when he said "I'm going to put my foot right here" and cars were honking and flashing lights...It was a fun movie.....
