LOL! Then I should have seen it, I have watched SNL every Sat nite since its inception, but I don't remember that.

The part of he sketch where “Billy Paul” kicks open the door only to have it swing closed back in his face was comedy gold. You could tell that the door was supposed to stay open but something went wrong. Without missing a beat Simon acted like it was a well rehearsed bit. I don’t think they could have got the timing that perfect on live TV if they rehearsed it 100 times.
