Thanks for Part 2. Those 49 thru 51 Mercs were always my favorite iconic customs of the 50’s era. Especially when ‘chopped and channeled’.

I haven't looked at your other thread, but one of the coolest things I have ever seen was probably in Hot Rod magazine in the 70s. Yes, I'm old.
Someone took two Volkswagen Beetles, cut them in half, and stuck the two front ends together and made it into a working automobile.

I think 50 is my favorite.
Just enough resto and mod. Looks like it can actually be driven on nice days.
When I was a little kid (4-7 or 8) I can remember my grandfather having a couple of old mid 50's pickups, on his farm. Have always liked them since being old enough to drive. I miss the smell that they had.

Back in Dearborn, Michigan, I went to high school with a kid we called chilli, who had a very bad ass, tricked-out 32 Ford 3-window coupe. Some years after high school the Coupe wound up on the album cover of the Beach Boys Little Deuce Coupe Album.

And heres the story behind the
Little Deuce Coup

Nice stuff.
I was at the PRI show here in Indy this year, Ford had a ‘32 roadster with their V6 EcoBoost crate engine. Looked complex (as most new turbo / intercooled / electronics are) but cool.

No Flatheads? How old-school is a Chevy small block with a 450 auto trans? Not very! Beautiful cars though!

The elNomado, built by Joe Cherry. He owns a garage down the road from Orange County Choppers. He did a disc brake conversion on my 64 Chevy and other mechanical work. He started out with 2 58 Chevys, a Nomad wagon and a 2-door Biscayne. The workmanship on this rod was so impressive one of the top execs at GM remarked that GM should have built this car, this would've been what a 58 elCamino would look like.
