I was awaken several nights ago, from a dream, with a warning to "watch out for 12/11". During my life, I've had dozens of premonitions. One of the first occurred when I was a just a kid, and ignoring it caused me to learn a VERY painful and scary lesson. Later in life, a premonition and my actions because of it likely saved my life and the life of my small family.
All of my premonitions have occurred while fully awake. I can not remember any significant insights I've "received" from a dream. But this one seems very different. I researched the date online and nothing of significance came up.
This morning I was awakened by a thought that in other parts of the world an abbreviated date is proceeded by the day, so that 12/11 in Europe would be 11/12/13. Maybe not too significant, especially since we're talking the Gregorian Calendar, but the next time this will occur, will be 01/02/2103.
Not sure if it is Hugh and Series, but had to let the world know!
thanks for all the details on what to avoid.

I still remember when I was a kid and I had a strange dream of my dad pulling some stuff out of the attic in the girls room and one thing was a green car.
I woke up and I went into the girls room to tell them, but my dad was just then pulling the green car out of the attic.
weird.
I have a lotto number for Tuesday, so maybe Wednesday I go bonkers and trash downtown like I won the NBA championship?
not likely
About a week before 9/11 we were talking with friends about going on a cruise so I had that in my head. The weekend before 9/11 I had a dream that my husband and I were in the water with others looking at the cruise ship and the Manhattan skyline off in the distance. There was a plane tail sticking up out of the water with a red circle on it. Other bomber type planes flying overhead. I remember it like it was yesterday.
I’m not one for “premonitions” and “visions” but I have been a serious bout of “deja vu’s” in the last few days. It has been steadily increasing...it’s weirding me out.
good theory
Indrid Cold says it was just a common, Sandhill Crane.
Well then, you need to watch out for green cars on 12/11.
lol
You look 35 at most.
Well, if there is something major about to happen, it would almost certainly involve the fact that many of the world’s leaders are now in South Africa to attend the Mandela funeral (Tuesday) and I’m not sure how many of them might be planning to leave on 12/11 or stay on for a day or two, so I would be watching for something to happen there.
I’ve experienced one or two “vision” type dreams although not genuine prophetic dreams in my own life. They are more memorable and different in quality.
above, that should be “memorial service” as I gather the funeral is to be next weekend in Mandela’s home village. The event on Tuesday is in a large stadium in Jo’burg and thus somewhat of a security challenge.
Really? You dreamt of Mothman?
“I need to pick up beer on the way home. Thanks for reminding me.”
Your beer store doesn’t deliver?
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38 KJV)
Whether it’s something or nothing, thanks for warning your fellow FReepers. It never hurts to elevate one’s awareness just in case.
What’s a Mothman?
Do a seach. It's an interesting story of a creature in WV.
From Wikipedia. References the book/movie:
“Mothman is a legendary creature reportedly seen in the Point Pleasant area of West Virginia from 15 November 1966 to 15 December 1967. The first newspaper report was published in the Point Pleasant Register dated 16 November 1966, titled “Couples See Man-Sized Bird...Creature...Something”.
Mothman was introduced to a wider audience by Gray Barker in 1970,[2][3] later popularized by John Keel in his 1975 book The Mothman Prophecies, claiming that Mothman was related to a wide array of supernatural events in the area and the collapse of the Silver Bridge. The 2002 film The Mothman Prophecies, starring Richard Gere, was based on Keel’s book.”
