But, by all means, raise their pay to ten bucks an hour.
There are many of America’s minimum wage workers aren’t worth even that.
Slings: Not a ping?
FP: Don’t eat anything in Clayton County ping.
GC: Mod pulled your thread but it was too good a story to keep quiet.
Wait you get in trouble for clearly improving a fastfood burger? That just doesn’t seem right.
Probably idolizes Berry O. Product of public screwools.
Actually Wendy’s is one of the better burgers out there among the major fast-food chains.
The thread was pulled because short AP articles must be excerpted to 50% of content.
One of those meat tenderizing mallets would work better than a pot.
That’s what you call grading on a curve. Yeah for the low end burger joints (as opposed to like Smash or Five Guys or Culvers) Wendy’s is one of the least horrible. But it’s still low end cheap fastfood burgers and kind of nasty.
I gave up eating at fast-food places more than 20-years ago over stories like this. I may not necessarily be healthier, but I’m sure happier for not having to worry about what some thugette might have done to my food.
I find most of Wendy’s salads are very good.
Our Whataburger makes probably the best fast food hamburgers in our area.
I’m probably the least-litigious person imaginable, easily forgiving of businesses making normal missteps, but if some damned dopehead scumbag did this to me, I’d be demanding retribution. If not a monitary settlement, at very least the satisfaction of bashing this idiot employee’s head in until it’s a bloody red pulp.
This wouldn’t happen if the minimum wage was higher!
Yeah, I've posted over a thousand articles and can only think of two that were pulled or modified. One I fought the mods over the definition of a blog (I lost). The other was a story about Olympic officials ordering another 10,000 condoms because they ran out. It got sideways really quick. I still think the mods were wrong on both of them.
Ugh! How embarrassing is that for Wendy’s and the Named Cook. Good luck finding another burger job now. Was she actually smoking inside the restaurant kitchen? Wow. Impossible for this not to be noticed by other workers. She must’ve have disabled the smoke sprinkler alarms in the ceiling. I doubt if the former cook could afford the Betty Ford Clinic, if they handle pot addicts.
According to another article it was only the one employee and the manager working at the time. Don’t ask me how the manager could have not known or been involved. As for the smoke detectors it takes a fair amount to set most of them off especially if the ventilation is good.
“That’ll be a nickel extra.”
At least Wendy’s didn’t give her the finger.
