Ugh! How embarrassing is that for Wendy’s and the Named Cook. Good luck finding another burger job now. Was she actually smoking inside the restaurant kitchen? Wow. Impossible for this not to be noticed by other workers. She must’ve have disabled the smoke sprinkler alarms in the ceiling. I doubt if the former cook could afford the Betty Ford Clinic, if they handle pot addicts.

According to another article it was only the one employee and the manager working at the time. Don’t ask me how the manager could have not known or been involved. As for the smoke detectors it takes a fair amount to set most of them off especially if the ventilation is good.

Smoke sprinkler alarms in a kitchen? Think about it....every time you burn a burger the entire kitchen would get soaked down. I don't think they have a sprinkler system in the kitchen unless it would be activated by direct flame or extremely high heat. :)
