Highlander is in my top 2 or 3 faves of all time. I can’t count how many times I’ve seen it.

“And what about the Star Trek Movies?”
Another great point.
What about the other John Hughes flicks (16 Candles, Breakfast Club) pretty much everyone’s seen them and they are still popular.
I deem this poll to be an incomplete earth whore.

Hard to beat “Red Dawn” in my book.
There’s just something about actively hunting down commies that just ... makes my day...
“Heartbreak Ridge” was another one of my favorites (Again, there’s that commie thing...)
And of course “16 Candles” with “Wot’s Hoppenin’ Hot Stuff?” Watanbe is and always will be one of the all-time classic flicks...

I saw all 3 of those movies at the theater. All great entertainment.
IIRC, Red Dawn was the first PG-13 movie released.

For you movie fans and a hat tip to Paul Walker check out “Running Scared” it’s turning into a cult fav.
Never watched any of the fast and furious only saw him in 2 movies “Eight Below” (i got Huskies temp is down to freezing in CA dogs are running around with big hard ons) and “Running Scared”.
BTW the new “Red Dawn” blows big time..

I regret to say I did sit through both Dead Poets Society and several other Robin Williams films of that era.Surprised "Good Morning Vietnam" isn't there.

10-4! I have never seen any of the “Fast and Furious” flicks.
Haven’t (nor will) see the remade “Red Dawn”.
Also, I found the remake of “The Mechanic” (finally saw it) to be ehh...give me the original anytime.

Back in the early 80s, I used to watch film critic Jeff Lyons on WPIX ( NYC ). Any movie he said to avoid at all cost, I would go see and loved the movie.

Saw the remake of Mechanic sucked big time.
Having fun unblocking my daughters WC “stop using so much f**cing toilet paper girl”..
Has Hollywood ever made a great remake??
Ponder on that and get back to me..

I don’t know about “great” but I can think of some “good” ones.
SCARFACE. How about “The Fly”, I didn’t even know that was a remake. I enjoyed Naomi Watt’s King Kong.

Good calls!!! Tony Montana is an example of how the GOP should be run: a combo of coke and Einsatzgruppen, but I digress.
How ‘bout “The Magnificent Seven”? A remake of a Japamese movie.
Just down the road from Hollywood, the remake of “The Devil In Miss Jones” was ‘better’. :)
