Is Barack Mentally Malnourished? A Reasonable Explanation for Obama's Mind

In fact, a weird, recent phenomenon emerges from the perpetual miasma, confusion and drama composing the life and times of Barack Obama. Many strain at the question—What drives the man? In office he has appeared arrogant and self-satisfied to a degree remarkable even for a US president. Further, he has so often seemed ignorant or obtuse to his surroundings, and of the topics presented to him.

Seemingly he is satisfied by the roar of the crowd as if this were the same thing as excellence. Obama is both the most disdainful of opinion of others, and yet the most dependent upon sheer popularity to prop up his image.

He ain't as bright as he thinks he is despite what his scholastic records indicate. (Well, that is if there are any scholastic records but how would we know?) But, then again, he doesn't care cause he's the "lyin' king" and as long as the gimmme's are out there, he'll be just fine.

He may be mentally malnourished, but he has accomplished more of his stated goals* than nearly any president I can think of.

*most of his goals were not stated during the general campaign, or to the general public. For the most part, those statements, or goals, came out during speeches to small select groups, or after the election.

The guy gets A triple+ for reaching his goals.

Yup. A terrible trait in a leader. I work with a guy who has an array of Subject Matter Experts at his command. He needs to make decisions, and he contacts the SMEs and finds out their recommendations. Then he berates them and tells them that they are all wrong, they don't know how to do their job, and they are all incompetent.

And then he makes a terrible decision, based solely on his own ignorant opinion. When things blow up, he blames the Experts for giving him bad advice (which he didn't take).

Scary that the President follows the same leadership model.

Well, he got an A+++ on the necessary skyrocketing of energy prices. He certainly didn’t lie about that. Who thought it was a good idea to vote for a guy that promised to raise your energy bill? “Duh, yup, that sounds like a great idear to me.”
