Star Partners and Hummingbird Prods. are collaborating on production of a sequel to Frank Capras iconic 1946 movie Its a Wonderful Life, which starred Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed.
The sequel, titled Its A Wonderful Life: The Rest of the Story, is being financed by Allen J. Schwalb of Star Partners who will also produce along with Bob Farnsworth of Hummingbird. The duo are aiming to get the movie into theaters for the 2015 holiday season.
Karolyn Grimes, who played George Baileys daughter Zuzu in the original, will return for the Wonderful Life sequel as an angel who shows Baileys unlikeable grandson (also named George Bailey) how much better off the world would have been had he never been born.

Maybe they’ll do a remake of Charlie Chaplin’s “The Gold Rush” with Justin Timberlake...
To: Fido969
They will find some way to work the obligatory lesbian kissing into it.

Because they havent had an original idea in 40 years. Everything is retreads these days. Usually done badly.
There used to be a joke about Hollywood having only 8 scripts that they use over and over. They just change the names of the characters, the location, and such, but the plot is basically the same.
That same holds true on TV. Most of the modern whodoneits seem to follow similar scripts.
Someone once posted a portion of the script of
Pocahontas and
Avatar. The first pages was basically the same with a few name changes, etc.

LOL, I had seen that before, but forgotten about it. I remember watching Avatar with my daughter and feeling, at the time, how utterly predictable it all was.

Potter will be the evil right winged conservative who is also a closeted homosexual.

how utterly predictable it all was.
I start watching a TV crime drama and within minutes pick out 'he did it' or 'she did it'. Some 80 to 90% of the time, that person ends up being the criminal or involved with the criminal.
