Star Partners and Hummingbird Prods. are collaborating on production of a sequel to Frank Capras iconic 1946 movie Its a Wonderful Life, which starred Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed.
The sequel, titled Its A Wonderful Life: The Rest of the Story, is being financed by Allen J. Schwalb of Star Partners who will also produce along with Bob Farnsworth of Hummingbird. The duo are aiming to get the movie into theaters for the 2015 holiday season.
Karolyn Grimes, who played George Baileys daughter Zuzu in the original, will return for the Wonderful Life sequel as an angel who shows Baileys unlikeable grandson (also named George Bailey) how much better off the world would have been had he never been born.

Good Lord....what are they thinking?? ARE they thinking? I am incredulous at this utter outrage.
Then again....this is Hollywierd. They do crap like this on a regular basis.

Because they haven’t had an original idea in 40 years. Everything is retreads these days. Usually done badly.

The worst sequel I ever saw was the one about Gone With the Wind. This one sounds as though it could be worse.
Why don’t they just put Bruce Willis in a wheelchair and a filthy wife beater T shirt and have him shout Holley Holley again.

Will it be rated R?
Hollow-wood did a remake of a cute little British film from the 1950s, and turned it into an R-rated f-bomb fest.
The Original.
The desecrated version.
Thanks for nothing, Tom Hanks.

...an angel who shows Baileys unlikeable grandson (also named George Bailey) how much better off the world would have been had he never been born. From this description, George is a nice conservative family man who attends church every Sunday, goes to the practice range on Saturdays, and provides for his family without any need for government assistance.

I wouldn’t want the fetid stench of depraved modern Hollywood even remotely “touching” the classic. The mere thought makes me want to vomit.

SNL did a skit that was supposed to be an alternate ending that was filmed but never used. In it everyone beats up Potter.

So a man living a selfish and greedy life is shown the error of his ways by a ghostly guide, at Christmastime.

Sounds original.

So how much sex and violence in this version? It’s got to have an R rating if its going to make money.

Yes, the GWTW sequel was super awful.
Actually, that last Die Hard movie was pretty bad too.
