Tom Leonardis has been Whoppie Goldberg's producer for about 19 years. Tom is also president of Whoopie Inc., her largest fan club. He admits to being frustrated and confused as to why Ms. Goldberg has never, ever been asked to host the Saturday Night Live entertainment show. "Whoopie has won an Oscar, she has hosted the Oscars, she won Emmys, Gramy and Tony awards as well, she even runs The View, Barbara Walters' Crown Jewel of a show, a couple times a month. So you tell me, what does it take for one of the most successful black comics to host this show? Lorne Greene never responds to my emails or my phone calls or any of my tweets. I've had enough of this treatment!".
Tom was speaking with reporters on the evening that Whoopie premiered her one woman performance at The Apollo Theatre; Whoopie presents Moms Mabley. In attendance were George Schlattner of Rowan and Martin's Laugh in production, Rain Pryor, daughter of Late Comic Richard Pryor, Dick Cavett, Phylis Rashad, and Jerry Stiller. Rain has also opened a show recently; her performance in 'Fried Chicken and Latkas" is receiving rave reviews. Whoopie says she long ago stopped waiting for Lorne Greene to dial her number; "I am not worried about it, okay?' was her response to the topic.

I have Dish Network... so anything on NBC doesn’t matter to me.
Maybe they should make a list of all the TV shows Whoppie has never been on, that would be definite proof of Racism in Hollyweird.
She could and would sue for millions.
Must be something scary about her. She had to confront Gene Roddenberry to ask for a STTNG screen test. Gene a liberal was glad to oblige. I am surprised that Lorne Michaels and her do not travel to the same show biz parties and that she did not confront him years ago.
After all it’s a leftist love in, in show biz.
I think it is because they never know when her next abortion is scheduled.
Whoopi Presents Moms Mabley-—LMAO
Moms was a funny lady ,not attractive at all so Whoopi probably fits the bill to play her.
Moms had some good material so Whoopi can just use Mom’s material, and she can watch a few of Mom’s old Videos to see how to play her. Moms also had a pretty foul mouth and Whoopi does too.
I don’t believe Mom’s ever bragged on having 7 abortions though as Whoopi has. Whoopi Goldberg is trash in anyone’s book. A racist piece of garbage with no class, but an ability to play the part of a no class black woman in the movies, a part she can play because it is a part she lives.

Liberals have no real sense of humor, someting like Germans or communists.

I hear Lorne Michaels is upset by this recurring prank of calling his number and leaving a message for Lorne Greene. I can hear him now:
“I never responded to emails or phone calls for Lorne Greene, and now they’re trying it in my tweets.” “I’ve had enough of this treatment!”.
A communist Water Bufalo to boot.

SNL is still on? Who knew?
Sometimes people don’t look in the right places for work. Whoopie is doing a show called the “View” which is totally the wrong demo for SNL and it certainly isn’t topical to SNLs demo. Miley Cyrus...a non comic made it by being...pick a word...but the topic of shows like Whoopie just talked about. SNL picks hosts for their CURRENT ability to draw their DEMO audience.
She should not deride SNL for not choosing her, but her producer for not producing it. And if given the project of trying to produce a week or a month of buzz enough to draw SNL, I doubt her producer would take the project.
