I realize that delving into the world of assassination research and a belief in a conspiracy will lead some to brand me as an extremist or a nut, but the facts I have uncovered are so compelling that I must make the case that Lyndon Baines Johnson had John Fitzgerald Kennedy murdered in Dallas to become president himself and to avert the precipitous political and legal fall that was about to beset him.

When Lodge was in his eighties, he served vigorously as the chairman of Ronald Reagans campaign for President in Connecticut, a post I had recruited him for as the Northeast regional director.
Lodge had done Kennedys dirty work coordinating a campaign with the CIA to assassinate Catholic Vietnamese President Diem. I couldnt resist asking John Lodge about his brother. Did you ever ask your brother who really killed Kennedy? I said.

His lips spread in a tight grin. Cabot said it was the Agency boys, some Mafiosi, he looked me in the eye . . . and Lyndon.
Did your brother know in advance? I asked.
Lodge took a sip of his Manhattan. He knew Kennedy wouldnt be around to fire him. LBJ kept him at his post so he could serve his country.

You sure that it wasn’t “Mustang Sally”?
“....I was thinking of Dion.”
Oh not that awful song! “Sympathy for the Devil” is a much, much better song.
I was in Latin class when it was announced that Kennedy had been shot. I don’t know if it was reflex or what, but I immediately felt that LBJ had had him done in. I’d become very interested in politics in 7th grade and read the newspaper regularly. One of my friends’ older sisters went on to join the FBI.
That's not a photo, it's an illustration.
I watched that documentary too and thought it was very compelling. The title was JFK: The Smoking Gun. The sole focus of it though was only the killing shot. They conceded that Oswald fired the other two shots but made no effort at all to explain his motives or possible connections. That was fair enough though, they had their story line and spent their time on that.
“Sane people can’t understand their motives.”
I agree with that, although of all you mention Oswald might have had the most sensible motive, him being a Commie and JFK and anti-Commie and all.
Do you think that the MSM’s refusal to blame Kennedy’s murder on a COMMUNIST and COMMUNISM and instead trying to pin in on conservative Americans who opposed Kennedy led to
these conspiracy theories?
Or was it that Oswald himself was immediately murdered? (By a person who was either in on one or another of the myriad conspiracies or just another loose cannon.)
Or is it just a continuation of the Kennedy mystique?

In 1963, a 24-year-old killed the leader of the free world. Today, Mommy and Daddy would still be carrying him on their health plan.
You talk in riddles, but only a ladybird would take stock in it if she has Bell(s) on :-).....
Wow as early as 1973 they were painting industrialist as racist murderers in the movies.
The best Oswald shot while in the Marines was Sharpshooter — not that good. Most other qualifications he had were Marksman, which is the lowest qualifying score. Expert is the best score range. So, if Oswald was the lone assassin, he shot much better that day than his Marine career performance would suggest.
Anyhow, the only sort of conspiracy angle I see as believable is bureaucratic cover up — like one entity trying to expunge its poor performance (ie Secret Service or FBI did a poor job). Even with that, I can’t see how they could have kept it secret all these years. So, the lone nut theory is more believable to me.
No, dude, what you specifically posted is a "medical illustration" - purportedly of JFK's autopsy - but it is absolutely NOT a photograph.
Things have really changed.
And the parents of that 24 year old today would go on camera to say what a good boy he was; he was only misunderstood.
Well, they say JKF was likely to lose his re-election, taking away LBJ’s opportunity to be the shoe-in for the next election. It’s always made sense to me that LBJ could have been behind the assignation. It makes as much sense as any other theory.
I distinctly remember that in her later years, after John Connely died she talked about suspecting LBJ
I saw a speaker one time who said it was the driver who turned around and shot Kennedy the second time. Jackie was climbing out of the car over the back seat to get away from him. The guy showed pictures of the driver turned around and a shiny object in his hand.
