Child abuse, plain and simple. My advice to the grandmother, as heartbreaking as it may be, is to just cease contact with them all. Not worth the heartache, and there’s nothing you can do. When my cousin was 2 or 3 years old she insisted she was a dog. She crawled around on all fours, barked and wanted to be fed under the table. If her parents had fed into her delusion, what then,a species transplant? I think not. They let her play, explained how imagination is fun at the appropriate times, but there were times when it was appropriate for her to be the little human girl she was born and not a puppy dog.
I would say another 10-15 years from now all these “tranie” children will sue their parents for fostering their childhood imaginings into a delusions that have the potential to destroy the lives of these children. My observation says the parents are attention seekers which is of course a normal trait when you are a child not when you’re suppose to be a child’s parent. When did parents start letting the child rule the roost?
