KATHLEEN SEBELIUS: In an ideal world there would have been a lot more testing. We did not have the luxury of that with a law that said it's go time on October 1st and frankly a political atmosphere where the majority party at least in the House was determined to stop this any way they possibly could including shutting down the United States government. So it was not an ideal atmosphere.

given the scope of this type of project required months and months of testing, two weeks of being unable to test being the failure reason is a blatant lie.
I find myself more and more double checking to see if an article is just satire. Sadly, most of them are not.
BTW, where is that guy?
The thing that impresses me about Sebellius, and, I guess this rest of the rotten bunch, is how they don’t even flinch when they’re speaking these lies. I keep looking for a twinge. A gulp. Any sign that they’re human, and... nothing.
We have reached an EXTRAORDINARY tipping point.
Nothing like this has EVER occurred in our history.
We have, for the first time, a “law” that will directly affect, in a negative way, the same people that were supporters of that law.
Directly affect.
The withholding of taxes is an unseen, and not something that zombies, ever think about.
But their right to be taken care of, at a cost that they agree with, is for the first time going to impact then in a very personal way.
I say bring it on.
There is no amount of propaganda that will convince the group of people required to make this thing work, to do what is opposed to their own self interest.
We are dealing with a very large group of young Idealist that are extremely cynical.
The self absorbed idealist needs to “fish or cut bait”.
There is no way that they will accept their identity as someone that is happy to pay for something that doesn’t benefit them immediately.
In a word, "No".
In fact, no liberal administration has ever accepted responsibility for anything negative. Though they will eagerly step forward and claim credit for happy accidents...
Who’s kidding who ? The Demo-Coms knew it was a mess but they sat on the information so the stupid Republicans would form a circular firing squad and wipe each other out.
No, they’re the sleaziest of pathological liars. You must not have any honor at all to either be a democrat, or to vote democrat.
The left must then abandon all their programs.
The “atmosphere” of free speech and political diversity shall continue.
The idea that a bunch of software developers would work for three years on a large website without testing it is about as plausible and likely as winning the Superbowl with a team made up of a dozen guys from the neighborhood, one of whom played some football in high school, after everybody had some burgers and beer in the parking lot.
The atmosphere for Illegal Immigration Refrom is not good either ,so they must abandon that as well.
This bitch is spinning so much her head should fly off! They really REALLY think we’re stupid.
Bump for later
The Republicans kept her from testing? Cool.
That is the lamest excuse ever. If they really knew the website needed more time, they should have appeared magnanimous and after facing down the GOP defund proposal accepted the year delay with lots of bubbly talk about how it would give them a chance to optimize the use-experience on the exchanges.
Sebelius, like Obama, suffers from the delusion that just making decrees and rules and throwing money at projects can make things happen, and was caught completely flat-footed by the exchange software not working.
The daughter of a Cincinnati Funeral Home Empire is the perfect emblem of ObamaCare.
