Heres another bizarre school assignment to add to the pile, courtesy of Wisconsin-based talk show host Vicki McKenna. Students are asked to work in groups to choose seven people to save from a shipwreck. To help in their decision, they are given some rudimentary information about each passenger, such as race and religious views.
Mr. Blake, for example, is a Mormon who sympathizes with anti-black views, while Mr. Newton is a black power advocated [sic] who is suspected of homosexual activity. You can see the educational value, especially when you take into account Father Frans, a priest who is often criticized for liberal views.

This is why other countries are whipping our behinds on math and science objectives. They actually TEACH math and science.
We teach discord and conflict.
Pfh! Please, Unity and Blending Cultures won't teach the kiddy's who they should hate and what sect is "out to get them"
The information I would want to have would be navigational skills, whether any one of them had a gun or a knife or a piece of string even. I would probably be okay with the priest since whatever his wacky beliefs he could hear my confession and absolve me of sins as I lay dying of starvation. I wonder whether there was someone in a wheelchair who required a catheter. Toss him or her overboard. Generally a horrible assignment though. What age group?
English assignment; I don’t know what grade.
No clowns on the lefeboat. They taste funny.
They’re just getting the kids ready for the aftermath of death panels. They will understand completely when their granny who’s in a wheelchair and has a catheter gets denied some lifesaving treatment.
This is all about indoctrinating the kiddies in the ‘morality’ of rationing.
In that situation, I would be relatively indifferent to race, except that I would not go out of my way to save anyone who considered race important. A skinhead white supremacist and an Obama voter are precisely equal to each other in my mind, at the bottom of any list, and they are the direct opposite of decent hardworking people regardless of melanin concentration. As a parent watching my kids waste time on that nonsense, I would be rather annoyed. My kids did go to public school (and the younger ones still do), but my policy in these situations was to have a long talk about political correctness and reality. None of my kids came out of public school with even a hint of liberal mental illness, in part thanks to a proactive and engaged approach to these issues.

Surprised its not gender assignment. What a crap couse to take in college - gender studies. I don’t a more useless course to take unless you’re preparing to work for rhe WH, be a drag queen,or a bath house attendent.
Bump.
Protect your children and the future of our country. Home school them or enroll them in a quality private school.
If there are any teachers on board throw them overboard first, they are useless.
Maybe the kids that picked the “wrong” people will be sent to re-education camp.
Is a young mother of two more important than an aging cancer researcher on the verge of a breakthrough?
Maybe they are looking for death panel recruits...
All these “idiots for the cause” forget a historical fact.
When the Communists fully take over, the first to be herded and killed were all the teachers, lawyers, and government folks.
Not this tired “values clarification” exercise again!? Who ever designed this should be the first to die.
The unspoken rule is that those who make that decision already have reserved seats. You really want to teach a lesson, have the groups pick among themselves for those seats, Survivor style. Watch them bully, connive and backstab. See how they form alliances and treacherously renege on them, to defeat their peers one by one. See how the exercise changes when their own skins are on the line.
Moral to the lesson? Democracy is three wolves and a sheep voting over what's for lunch.
But what difference does race make in these decisions?
Who should survive? Why, those useful to the regime, of course!
The common core questionnaires and work shops are designed to identify and isolate individuals that require further indoctrination and to develop a group think that ostracizes anyone who will not embrace the marxist belief structure. Simple.
Good analysis.
